Skyline Walk - 2 to 3 hours is perfect for those looking for a half day walking activity in Bath. A fun and enjoyable way to take in the city's famous buildings, military past, historic sites, hill side meadows and woods with panoramic views across the city. Descending back into the city we follow the cities famous waterways including the Kennet and Avon Canal and River Avon where you can expect to see Sydney Gardens, Peregrine Falcons, Bath Abbey, Pulteney Weir and Bath Rugby Club.

Bath Ancient Hills Walk - 5 Hours is an amazing adventure through the history and wildlife of Bath the Avon Valley and its surrounding hills. Starting in the heart of the city we journey along the Bath's famous waterways before ascending up onto Solsbury Hill the site of a Bronze Age Hill Fort with its dominating views over Bath and the valley below. A swift descent into the Swainswick valley provides the opportunity to walk through rural England at its finest with the odd encounter with the livestock farmed in this beautiful valley. Ascending through the 'Double Thankful' village of Wooley onto Lansdown where you will experience panoramic and uninterrupted views of Bath, the Mendip Hills and Avon valley whilst enjoying historic sites such as Beckford's Tower and Kelston Roundhill as you journey back into Bath along the southern end of the Cotswolds Way. This is one of our favourite Bath walks richly abundant with 7000 years of history and local wildlife you get to feel a part of during the walk.

Whats included?
- Group Sizes - We have a ratio of 1 guide to 10 clients. Please note that there is a minimum booking requirement of 2 persons for the Cotswold Way & Limestone Link walk. Larger groups can be booked on request for private, school and corporate bookings.
- Level – A moderate level of fitness is required for the 3 hour walk. The 8 hour walk is suitable for more experienced walkers.
- Photos – We include a digital photo package of your day within the price
- Fun – A big smile that will hang around for weeks!

- Snacks - There are numerous cafes en route. However if you wish to bring a pack lunch please feel free.

What about lunch?
You can bring your own packed lunch or for private bookings we can organise a pub or cafe lunch during the walk. We generally stop for a picnic lunch at a scenic point on the walk.

How to get to us?
We are located opposite the Tesco Express store on Bathwick Hill under the canal bridge at Bath Narrow Boats. We can be reached from either side of the road as per the gates marked on the map, please follow signs to Bath Narrow Boats. From the Tesco Express shop walk down the steps, turn left at the bottom of the steps under the bridge (push the gate open if shut) or cross the road and access us from the black cast iron gate next to the black iron railings and you will find us waiting for you. If you're still struggling to find us, wave at us from the bridge opposite the Tesco Express!

- Walking - We are a 15 minute walk from the centre of town.
- Driving - There are 5 main car parks in Bath close to us, please take walking time into account as parking in Bath can be a challenge - Bath Cricket Club & Bath Leisure Centre (10 minute walk), Manvers Street Car Park (15 minute walk), Southgate Shopping Centre Car Park (20 minute walk) and Avon Street Car Park (25 minute walk). Please be aware that the area around Bath Narrow Boats is mostly residents parking only, we do not advise trying to park locally as this may result in you being late and missing your tour.
- Park & Ride - There are 3 park & ride facilities in Bath - Lansdown Park & Ride, Newbridge Park & Ride and Odd Down Park & Ride.
- Taxi - It costs approximately £5 for a taxi from Bath Spa train station
- Public transport - The following buses stop at St Mary’s Church within a 2 minute walk from our location at Bath Narrow Boats - 94, 175, 287, U1, U1X and X86
