BATH TWIN AQUEDUCTS - RIVER & CANAL SUP ADVENTURE
TWIN AQUEDUCTS SUP ADVENTURE £55 - Up to 6 Hours - Our paddle boarding adventure is the perfect way to experience the wilder side of the Bath area. As the only official licensed SUP tour operator in the area you'll enjoy full access to what this hidden gem has to offer. You'll start your adventure paddling along the Somerset Coal Canal, Kennet & Avon Canal over 2 stunning Georgian Aqueducts whilst paddling through areas of wildlife rich beech woodland before stopping for a refreshment break at a cafe or pub underneath the Avoncliff Aqueduct.
This is where your river adventure starts and we head into one of the most stunning sections of the Avon river. At this point our local knowledge of the river will give you the best chance to see iconic wildlife such as Kingfishers, Common Egrets, Dippers and if we're lucky Beaver or Otters. This amazing stretch of water combines lazy stretches of a classic English valley landscape with the fun of traversing 2 weirs, learning some valuable white water techniques from your guides. You'll finish your day with the Dundas Aqueduct as your backdrop before paddling back into the Angelfish Cafe.
As Stand Up Paddleboarding days out go you'll enjoy 2 canals, 2 aqueducts, 2 rivers and 2 weirs which is one of the rarest SUP experiences you'll have outside of a national park. The opportunity to see iconic wildlife with guides who know the water intimately will ensure you get the most out of you day out with us. As a local operator this is our favourite paddle which constantly changes through the seasons.

What to expect? On arrival at the Angelfish cafe you will meet your guide who will provide you with a safety brief before introducing you to your Stand Up Paddle (SUP) Boarding equipment. Pre-paddle you'll be able to enjoy a coffee at the cafe and stock up on delicious snacks! As the only authorised local operator we will paddle from the waterside cafe along the Somerset Coal Canal without having to hike to unofficial launch sites. The fun begins here as we show you how to get on your board and progress from a kneeling to stand up position. Once you are happy in a kneeling or standing position we will start the adventure along the water.
