BATH GROUP STAND UP PADDLEBOARD ADVENTURES

GROUP SUP ADVENTURE from £39 per person - 2.5-3 Hours - Up to 24 People Based at our private launch site in Batheaston; our group paddle boarding sessions are perfect for larger groups looking to have a fun session. From learning to SUP to more advanced skills based sessions we can design the experience around the requirement of your group. You'll be paddling along a beautiful stretch of the River Avon above Bathampton Weir ensuring that sessions are free of boat traffic and bursting with wildlife including Kingfishers, Beaver, Dippers, Emperor Dragonflies & a host of other wildlife dependent on the time of year. This is a stunning section of the river providing one of the best watersports experiences in the area.

What to expect? On arrival you will be provided with a safety brief before introducing to your Stand Up Paddle (SUP) Boarding equipment. The fun begins here as we show you how to get on your board and progress from a kneeling to stand up position. Once you are happy in a kneeling or standing position we will start the adventure along the water. Our sessions are all about fun and relaxing; we can cruise, race, swim or form a SUP raft and float down river sipping a glass of bubbles.

Safety & Booking Requirement:

• To be able to take part in this experience you will need to be confident in water and be able to swim a minimum of 15 metres in wet clothing.

• Please note the minimum age for this activity is 11 years of age & all under 18's must be accompanied by an adult.

Booking includes:

• Price - £39 per person including SUP, leash, paddle and PFD
• Group Sizes - We have a maximum ratio of 1 guide to 8 clients
• Level – Easy
• Location - Batheaston
• Start & Finish Timings – Morning sessions start at 10am and afternoon sessions at 2pm with each session taking 2.5-3 hours

Recommended Equipment List

We provide a 10 litre dry bag to store warm clothing and valuables.

• Sun hat
• Sunglasses with floaty strap
• Lightweight T-Shirt
• Shorts or leggings
• Neoprene booties or trainers
• Spare lightweight warm top (lightweight fleece)
• Waterproof or Splash jacket
• Sunscreen
• Insect repellant
• Waterbottle or water reservoir
• Money - If time permits there maybe the chance for a quick cafe stop. You will need cash as well as a credit card due to some locations only taking cash.
• We don't provide wetsuits, however, please feel free to bring your own if you feel the cold.

Please note that we do not have changing facilities, you will need to arrive dressed for the activity.
